M.Sc Physics in National Institute of Technology Trichy (NITT)
M.Sc Physics in National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli
M.Sc.(Physics)

M.Sc. (Physics) programme encompasses all necessary basic physics courses and laboratory practicals. The theory courses are designed in the line of GATE and CSIR syllabus. In addition, the programme is complemented with advanced topics like Non Destructive Testing, Lasers and Applications, Thin-Films and Applications, Nano-Science and Technology ete., as electives. In order to ignite the student' mind in making a research career, they are guided to do a project on frontier research areas in the fourth semester.
Admission Procedure
Admission to the M.Sc (Physics) Programme is based on entrance examination conducted by NITT. The eligibility for the programme is Physics / Applied Physics/ Applied Science. Syllabus for entrance exam is university B.Sc Physics level and the exam pattern is of objective type questions with negative marks for wrong answers
Candidate can check the NITT website during the end of the academic year (Apirl-May) for details regarding applications
